A LEVEL HOUSE

In the kitchen the corner has been sinking and there has been some water damage to the floor. The kitchen door would only open far enough that you could barely squeeze through it. So Jud climbed under the house on Saturday and jacked it up. The counter above my dishwasher we put in after we moved in and bought the dishwasher. Doyle and Jud made it level then and now that the house is jacked up that counter is definitely not level! But it is well worth it! Now we just have to rip out a little bit of the floor and replace the floor boards and put down new flooring and I will have a normal kitchen floor! I can't wait. I don't know what to do now that the kitchen is level, and the kitchen door opens all the way, but I think I will get used to it!

DRESS UP

My Grandma and Grandpa O'Neil came over for lunch on Sunday and after we ate Aspen and Tatum learned that they can get Papa Pudge to do anything they want! They played dress up with the girls for a while and it was so much fun! They have Grandpa tied around their fingers. Grandma is dressed up in the picture and Grandpa is not because Aspen would not go near him because silly Grandpa Princess stuff is for girls!

Primary Childrens went ok. They told us that the test results all came back, and thay were normal. She told us to start giving her more fiber and if she gets another bladder infection she will put her on a low dose of antibiotic for six months. If she does not get another bladder infection than she is a healthy three year old. Thank you for all of your prayers and concern, we really appriciate it!

Tatum's first taste of chocolate pie

This morning Tatum woke up at about 7:15 so I put her back to sleep and put her in bed with me and Aspen. I went back to sleep with them. I woke up to Tatum's cold, wet hand on my arm, when I looked at her she had something all over the bed and herself. I could not figure out what it was and did not know if I dared taste it. I finally convinced myself to have a taste and realized it was chocolate pie. Aspen had ate pie that night and I fell asleep, when she was done she just put it on the headboard and went to sleep herself. Well the little stinker Tatum woke up and quietly so not to wake up Aspen or myself pulled the plate of pie onto Jud's pillow and helped herself! What a mess, but just goes to show that I can not even sleep without one eye open!

Aspen update

We went to Castleview on March 4th to have Aspen's tests done and they tried to put in a catheter and she would not let them. It was extremely traumatic, she sat in Kathy's jeep for about a 1/2 hour before we could even get her to look or talk to us. So we had to cancel the appointment with the urologist, and make an appointment with Primary Children's to have her sedated so that they can run the test. We will have that done on March 18th, and see the urologist on the 19th. She was doing really well not having accidents during the day and at night on the Ditropan (bladder control medicine), and now it is not working so well. She is having an accident during the night two or three times a week, so we are back to wearing pull-ups to bed again, and she hates it. She has days that she will not eat because her stomach hurts too bad, and she has been so mean to me and Tatum. So hopefully they will find out with this test what is going on and we can have our nice happy Aspen back again.
