Our latest dirty laundry

After dinner Aspen decided that it would be fun to put Tatum in the hamper. They had a ball, and it was pretty funny to watch, cause Tatum is almost as big as Aspen!

Garbage digger at work again

Tonight we had hamburgers and corn on the cob. After dinner I was dumping food in the garbage, and Jud and Aspen were rinsing the dishes, Tatum thought that her job was to eat the corn that was sticking out of the garbage can. It was so funny that we had to let her do it a few times to get pics. Just so you don't think that we are completely awful parents it was sticking out of the garbage so at least she didn't dig it out!

HAVING NO KIDS SUCKS!

So I swore to myself that I was going to keep my blog updated, but I have come to learn that when your kids are not home, there is nothing to write about! Yesterday we dropped them off at my moms, and they will be there until tomorrow when we were leaving Aspen had a really hard time, she is ready to have her mom back and I am just as ready to have her back! So I am hoping and praying that Friday when I go to the doctor that he releases me. If he does than you better believe that we are going to have so much fun Saturday and I am going to hold and love on my girls like never before. I have always taken advantage of being able to take care of my kids and I will not anymore. This has been the hardest 10 days of my life!

Its always fun when Grandpa comes home

Grandpa always gets home at about the same time so Grandma had been telling the kids how long before he was going to be home. Every time Tatum would cry she would tell her lets go find Papa, and she would stop crying and try to find him. So when the door opened and Papa walked through the door they both went running. They played and laughed with him for quite a while, so we can definitely say its always fun when Grandpa comes home!

Picinic

We tried to go to the park today but it was too big of a muddy mess! So we went to the store and got a drink and some lunch. We had a picnic on the front lawn and played outside. We also went for a ride in the wagon around the block, it was a lot of fun.

weekend slumber party

I had surgery on my nose on Wed. and can't do anything for 10 days, so on Thurs. Jud brought me and the girls to my moms for the weekend. They have had so much fun.

They have had a pajama party, played outside, made bracelets, and tried to go to the park. They were getting ready to go to the park on Friday and it started to rain, so we tried to go today and it was still a mud hole. So no park, but they had fun anyway. Tatum had a really bad night on Thursday, so with the help of a lot of playing and some Motrin she slept like a log on Friday, so needles to say we are going to give that a try again.

Aspen's 4-H

Aspen has been doing 4-H this year, we have had a lot of fun. We did photography, scrapbooking, and beading. We took the girls up Huntington canyon and let them take some pictures, they had a lot of fun. After they took the pictures we let them scrapbook them. They also got to go to a day camp up Huntington Canyon where they made horses out of swimming noodles, candles, butter, taffy, and ice cream. She has had a lot of fun, and has also learned how to do a lot of new things. Everything that she has made will be on display at the Emery County Fair, so go check it all out!
